Benefits Advisory Committee

The University Benefits Advisory Committee advises the president and senior leaders on matters related to employee benefits programs. The committee analyzes proposed changes to measure the possible impact to the institution and its employees, recommends changes regarding benefit programs in order to maintain or strengthen competitiveness with peer institutions within budgetary constraints, recommends benefits policies, the design of benefit programs, and selection of providers, recommends plans for communication to employees regarding their benefits, and monitors the performance of employee benefits providers and plan options to ensure coverage and cost equity, balance, compliance and sustainability.
